Selection of a national R&D program in materials science
Last June, 1 drop has been selected in a national R&D program in materials science organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy.
This project is to accomplish the technology breakthrough in materials science and to preoccupy future global markets in manufacturing industries. 1drop applied to the project, 'the development of smartphone-based homecare solution that can measure multiple ingredients by a small amount of blood'.
The total project cost is about KRW 3.7 billion and the total development period is 31 months (until December 2022).
Through this project, 1drop plans to develop and commercialize a simple but effective blood analysis sensor that can measure various ingredients with a single injection.
Through this national project, 1drop will establish a foothold to become a global market leader with a diverse portfolio of next-generation mobile healthcare technologies.
